Brigitte Bardot look-a-like supermodel Claudia Schiffer hangs up her stilettos.

She's through with the catwalk.

Claudia who was launched in the modeling stratosphere when she first appeared as the face of Guess jeans back in the 1980s has said finis to the runway.

"I'm finished with the runway. I won't miss it," Claudia said.

"I am still modeling and I enjoy that a lot but no more runways.

"I can sit on the side and view the outfits and see all the detail and that suits me fine.

"It's very enjoyable. I like my new viewpoint."
