CATHERINE ZETA-JONES is furious with doctors for failing to discover her husband MICHAEL DOUGLAS' throat cancer sooner.

"It makes me furious they didn't detect it earlier ... He sought every option and nothing was found," Catherine told People.

She also expressed her fear as Michael undergoes chemo and radiation. "I know maybe I should be stronger, but emotionally I just don't want to see that."

And the 40-year-old Welsh beauty, who has been married to Michael, 65, just shy of 10 years, worries about Michael's quality of life saying, "The hardest part is seeing his fatigue, because Michael is never tired."
