WRITERS STRIKE COMES TO AN END

Get ready for new episodes of your favorite TV shows! Members of the Writers Guild of America returned to work Wednesday, ending a three-month walkout that paralyzed the entertainment industry.

The scribes are back at work toiling on scripts, but it will take a few months for regular programming to return. Many TV favorites like 30 Rock, Brothers & Sisters, Desperate Housewives, ER, Grey's Anatomy and The Office won't return until April or May. Season 7 of 24 has been postponed until January 2009. Other shows like Heroes and Chuck will come back in the fall.
