Lynda Carter, TV’s Wonder Woman, was out rowing on the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. when she saw something rather odd — a woman floating face down in the murky waters.
The WW thesp immediately flagged down nearby boaters who sent a distress call to both police and EMS.
Paramedics tried to revive the victim but it was too late.
D.C. police think the dead woman was a hiker who may have slipped and fallen into the Potomac about a quarter mile north of Three Sisters Island.
Carter fled the Potomac Boat Club without commenting to reporters – like any true, red, white and blue super heroine.
