Despite having conquered Nazis, space aliens and villains most foul TV’s Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter, won her greatest battle against herself.
The 56 year-old iconic TV star publicly admitted to being an alcoholic.
She began hitting the bottle after the demise of her show in the late 1970s, the former Miss World USA admitted.
Thankfully, Carter said she has been sober for a decade thanks to the intervention of hubby, attorney Robert Altman.
Carter said she was so good at hiding her drinking problem from the world, she was "brilliant."
"I needed help — I begged God in heaven to help me figure this out," she recalled.
With the aide of her faithful friend and companion, husband Altman and their two children, Jessica and Jamie, Carter sought treatment at a rehab facility.
And won her battle with booze.
