CAITLYN JENNER'S legal woes over a fatal car crash could create a headache for authorities!
If she’s convicted of a crime, the gender-bending reality TV star would most likely be housed with other female inmates, The National ENQUIRER has learned.
Caitlyn remains under investigation by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department for rear-ending a Lexus driven by Kimberly Howe, 69, on the Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu this February.
Kimberly was killed, and family members – along with another driver involved in the accident – have since sued the Olympic gold medalist.
While Caitlyn has yet to be charged, if she were convicted and sentenced to jail time, “a complex question” would arise “because of Caitlyn’s breast implants and sex change surgery,” a law enforcement source revealed to The ENQUIRER.
Caitlyn would most likely be incarcerated at the Century Regional Detention Facility in the industrial suburb of Lynwood, Calif., an all-female facility where other celebrity lawbreakers, including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan and Michelle Rodriguez, served time.
But she also could be shipped to the Twin Towers Correctional Facility in downtown L.A., which has a dedicated gay/transgender cellblock.
As a celebrity, Caitlyn would “most likely be housed in the keep-away unit of either jail for her safety,” the source added. “Celebrities just don’t go into general population.”
