WITNESS REVEALS NEW DETAILS OF MEL GIBSON ALTERCATION

Despite reports Mel Gibson never touched the fan photog, a witness has now come forward to reveal new details.

RadarOnline.com found a club-goer who tells the entertainment news web site that Mel was indeed involved in a scuffle with a man trying to take his picture Wednesday night at the opening of Hollywood’s Playhouse and that pix of his ripped shirt were NOT faked.

A police investigation is ongoing.
