Michelle Williams, the late Heath Ledger’s girlfriend and mother of their child, is snubbing the NYC premiere of The Dark Knight, according to sources.
Reason? Michelle’s feuding with the Ledger family over 2 year-old daughter, Matilda’s inheritance.
The Ledger clan is flying from Australia to New York for the preem where son Heath died from an accidental OD in January.
According to The New York Post, Michelle won’t be joining them.
The Post claims that Michelle has had a major falling out with Heath’s dad Kim, the executor of the estate, over Matilda’s inheritance.
"Michelle is furious with Heath’s family,” the source said.
“Matilda is supposed to be the beneficiary of the will, but Michelle has seen nothing from them.”
Ledger left just $145,000 when he died but recent reports indicate he left a trust for daughter Matilda including property in LA and Brooklyn and a lucrative back-end deal on profits from The Dark Knight franchise.
