Jail bird Paris Hilton is expected to sell her story to NBC’s Today show, reveals the New York Post. The network is reportedly shelling out $1 million to televise Paris discussing her time in jail. Part of the deal is that Meredith Vieira will conduct the interview sometime next week, sources tell the NY Post, as Paris is upset with Matt Lauer for some rude remarks he made about her.
The news comes a blow to ABC, who is reportedly furious about the deal. Executives thought that Paris’ first interview as a free woman would go to Barbara Walters, who is friends with Kathy Hilton.
