When facing jail time, make sure you piss off your lawyer so much that she quits – right, LINDSAY LOHAN?
RadarOnline.com reports Lindsay Lohan’s lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley resigned after she discovered the actress was shopping for a new attorney behind her back,
LA is a big city but a small town when it comes to top-notch legal talent and it didn’t take long for a sharpie like Shawn to discover the double dealing.
"Two other lawyers were called and that’s not including the lawyer Lindsay ended up hiring," a source said.
"One of the other lawyers called worked with Shawn on O.J. Simpson’s Dream Team criminal defense."
Both lawyers declined her case so Lindsay kept shopping and has reportedly hired Tiffany Feder-Cohen, to appeal.
Feder-Cohen was admitted to the California State Bar last year so expect some fresh-faced legal manuevering trying to reduce Lilo’s sentence of 90 days in jail and 90 days in rehab for her probie violation.
Lindsay better keep her cool if she doesn’t want to infuriate the judge with more caustic boo-hoo Tweets or she’ll get her sentence extended on contempt charges.
