Fearsome feud threatens production of hit show as ROSIE’s diva antics raise JENNIFER’s ire.

ROSIE O’DONNELL has been a huge hit on the Jennifer Lopez-produced ABC Family drama “The Fosters” – but she could be banned from the show because the two divas can’t stand each other, say insiders.

The former talk-show queen earned rave reviews for her recurring guest-starring role on the series, which centers on an interracial lesbian couple raising a blended family of biological, adopted and foster children.

“Despite the raves, Jennifer thinks Rosie is loud, annoying and abrasive,” said a close source. “She most likely won’t return for any future episodes.

“Jennifer approved casting Rosie because she thought it would boost ratings – but it didn’t take long for the two to lock horns.”

One problem, the source continues, was that Rosie – a mom of five adopted kids – gave Jennifer parenting advice about raising her 6-year-old twins Max and Emme.

“The trouble started after Jennifer said she was exhausted because Max and Emme were throwing temper tantrums before bed,” revealed the source. “In front of the whole staff, Rosie blurted out, ‘That’s because you’re not strict enough. You’re their parent, not their best friend!’

“At that point, Jennifer blew her stack.”

To make matters worse, the source says Rosie, 52, gave the 44-year-old singer unsolicited career advice and cracked lewd jokes about her 18-years-younger boyfriend Casper Smart.

What’s more, the outspoken comedian – now married to second wife Michelle Rounds – kept calling her “J.Lo,” which she hates. And she kept bragging about her friendship with “ J.Lo’s” ex-beau, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs.

Rosie’s guest role ended with the March 24 season finale – and the buzz is she won’t be back.

Said the source: “The ‘Fosters’ set just isn’t big enough for Rosie and Jennifer’s outsized egos.”
