Viewers were stunned tuning into Showtime’s hit Californication to see what appeared to be BRAD PITT making a debauched ass of himself – only it was former Brat Pack lothario ROB LOWE instead!
Lowe played a bearded soul capped A-lister Oscar winner Eddie Nero on the raunchy cable series starring former PR fueled sex addict DAVID DUCHOVNY as unrepentant bad boy author Hank Moody.
Lowe nails the Brad Pitt shtick of pompous handsome lunatic and appears just like bearded billygoat weird Brad sporting his outré vagrant look of last year.
And, for the record, Pitt has never won an Oscar but he’s been nominated twice.
While Brad was busy at the Golden Globes Sunday night there’s no doubt the A-lister may have DVR’ed Californication and may be none too pleased to be the subject of extreme ridicule – some say, deservedly so.
Rob’s character Nero wants to play Duchovny’s character Moody in a film adaptation of the best selling book F**ing and Punching so viewers will probably get to see the weirdest three way ever — Lowe doing Pitt doing Duchovny!.
"THIS had to come out!" Lowe said in an interview.
