OPRAH WINFREY kicks off her India visit with a bangin’ BOLLYWOOD party!

The BBC reported Oprah on her first visit to the legendary country is lensing a documentary and the Big O is slated to attend the Jaipur literary festival.

No sooner than she alighted in Mumbai on Monday the she promptly hit up a party held in her honor thrown by the India film industry’s biggest stars.

Oprah sporting a red sari travelled via limo with Bollywood acting legend Amitabh Bachchan to a super-glitzy event, hosted by socialite Parmeshwar Godrej.

The entourage was accompanied by actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai, Bachchan's son and daughter-in-law.

Other actors who attended the party included Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Preity Zinta.

Zinta later tweeted: "Tonight was dinner at the Godrej House with Oprah Winfrey. Nice to see her wearing a beautiful sari."

Despite being starstruck some Mumbai fan addicts suggested via Twitter that Oprah see more than just the posh side of India.

She replied, promising she’d be "seeing it all", and was due to make a pit stop in the teeming poverty-ridden slums today.

"Never been to India, it's been on my vision board forever," Oprah said.
