INSPIRED by ex-girlfriends Sandra Bullock and Charlize Theron, KEANU REVEES is making top-secret plans to adopt a child, sources tell The National ENQUIRER.
The 49-year-old “BILL & TED’s EXCELLENT ADVENTURE” hunk is still close with his two former flames, who are dedicated single parents. Insiders now say he’s determined to follow their example by putting parenthood above all else.
“Keanu adores Sandra and Charlize and noticed a joyful change in both of them after they became parents,” revealed an insider. “He wants to experience that magic of adoption for himself.”
Ironically, Keanu has a strong desire to be a father despite his own tragic childhood. His dad reportedly abandoned his wife and family when Keanu was three. The actor’s role model, “Gravity” star Sandra, adopted son Louis in 2010 after a four-year process. Charlize waited two years before being granted permission to welcome home her child in November 2011.
Sources say Keanu has become so close to both kids that his heart is set on adoption, “but his big dilemma is choosing which country to adopt from.”
Sadly, in 1999, his then-flame Jennifer Syme gave birth to a stillborn baby.
“Keanu always assumed he’d have kids with the woman he settles down with, but the more he hears about adoption, the more it appeals to him,” said the insider. “He’ll be a great Dad because he’s patient and kind.”
