ANGELINA JOLIE is tired of being left behind with six kids while BRAD PITT travels the world – so she kicked up her heels in Los Angeles during his recent trip to France!
“Angie was fed up – she gets a little weary of being with the kids so much,” said a source. “Meanwhile, Brad flits from one movie set to the next while taking side jaunts to party with his guy friends.”
As The ENQUIRER recently reported, the couple’s kids have been squabbling over screen roles since 4-year-old Vivienne got a plum part in her mom’s big budget Disney movie, “Maleficent.”
“Angie decided she needed a break – and cut loose,” said the source.
ACCOMPANIED BY LONGTIME friend Holly Goline, the “Salt” star whooped it up at a fundraising party in Malibu on March 1. She drank wine and “flirted up a storm with lots of handsome men,” including Ben Affleck and musician Peter Gabriel, according to the source.
“Angie was lapping up the attention,” added the source. “She didn’t appear to be missing Brad one bit and kept the party going past midnight.”
Just a few days later, on March 5, the 37-year-old sexpot and her entourage enjoyed a political soiree at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel.
While Angie was living it up in L.A., Brad, 49, was overseeing the March 7 launch of the couple’s Miraval Rose wine brand, named after their sprawling $60-million French estate.
“Angie is frustrated that Brad gallivants around the globe on his pet projects,” continued the source. “She’s showing him that she’s not going to sit home twiddling her thumbs.”
