JAMES GANDOLFINI suffered an eerie premonition of his own untimely demise while shooting his last film, “Enough Said” – telling his co-star Julia Louis-Dreyfus that he “wasn’t going to live very long.”

The 51-year-old “Sopranos” star, who dropped dead of a heart attack on June 19 while vacationing in Rome, stunned the “Veep” star when he confided “he was on borrowed time,” an insider told The ENQUIRER.

“They had many conversations working together last year, and Julia was struck by how sensitive and even melancholy James could be.”

In the touching film, Gandolfini portrays a frumpy guy who falls in love with Julia’s character, not knowing she has just become friends with his ex-wife.

“James somehow knew his days were numbered, and midway through the shoot he told Julia, ‘I don’t know. I don’t think I have much time left.’

“It didn’t resonate with her at the time, but on reflection, Julia feels he definitely feels he definitely was telling her he’d be dead soon. It’s heartbreaking.”
