Wayne Newton was booted off Dancing With The Stars on Tuesday, Oct. 9. The 65-year-old Las Vegas entertainer and his partner Cheryl Burke were eliminated from the TV competition after they scored the lowest number of votes.
Despite all his hard work, Newton failed to win over the show’s three judges — and the audience! As a result, Newton never earned a high enough score to stretch out his lifeline a bit longer. “I think it’s important to live life, not exist in it,” Wayne said after hearing the bad news. “Being comfortable is wonderful, but stepping out — even if you fail — is not failing to me.”
