Grammy winning rap artist Warren G. has been freed on bail after spending the night in the cooler on drug charges.
The rapper a.k.a. Warren Griffin III was pulled over early Sunday morning by LAPD after running a red light.
What cops found was enough marijuana to charge both Warren and the car’s driver on possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
Warren is best known for his Grammy winning 1994 hit "Regulate" and for being the half-brother of rap legend Dr. Dre.
This is not the first time Warren has been in trouble with the law. He was busted for carrying a concealed weapon in 1996 after a 9-mm assault weapon was found in his truck after a drive-by shooting.
The rapper was not charged in the shooting.
