Barbara Walters is under pressure to boot Rosie O’Donnell from “The View” in the wake of Rosie’s recent public face-off with Donald Trump, say sources.
What started with a verbal tirade from Rosie over Donald’s decision to give hard-partying Miss USA Tara Conner a “second chance” to keep her crown has quickly escalated into a full-blown war.
Donald is threatening a lawsuit against the outspoken “View” co-host. And Barbara, who’s a longtime friend of The Donald, is caught in the middle.
“Barbara is being told by her closest confidantes and some of her bosses that the time has come to dump Rosie,” said a source at the studio. “Their attitude is — ‘You hired her, you fire her!'”
