The death of BOBBI KRISTINA BROWN has ignited a $20 million “blood feud” over the fortune she inherited from superstar mom Whitney Houston!
“It’s ugly,” a source told The National ENQUIRER – as the Houston family fights to keep Bobbi Kristina’s dad or her “husband” Nick Gordon from grabbing Whitney’s fortune!
Whitney’s will stipulated that Bobbi Kristina received 10 percent of the $20 million estate on her 21st birthday – then 6 percent more on her 25th birthday, and the rest on her 30th birthday.
If Bobbi Kristina died before reaching 25, Whitney’s will left all the money to her mother Cissy, plus her brothers Michael and Gary.
That means Bobbi Kristina couldn’t leave 9/10 of Whitney’s fortune to Nick or to her father, Bobby Brown!
Whitney’s will leaves Bobby money – but says it’s for “my husband, Robert B. Brown.”
“Bobby will have to do some serious legal tap dancing to get any money,” the family insider told The ENQUIRER. “He wasn’t Whitney’s husband when she died!”
Nick isn’t mentioned in Whitney’s will even though she took in Bobbi Kristina’s troubled companion as a 12-year-old, but never adopted him.
Cissy filed legal documents in Atlanta that claimed her granddaughter was “a highly visible target” for people who could “benefit” from her “resources and celebrity.”
She feared Nick and her father were capable of “draining Bobbi Kris’ fortune,” and she wanted her granddaughter to “mature” before inheriting her mother’s money.
Bobbi Kristina’s family has already sued Nick in a wrongful death lawsuit claiming he robbed her of $11,000 while she was in a coma.
But the source said: “The family still thinks Bobby and Nick could make demands for a share!”
