America’s sweethearts Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens have moved in together, pals of the High School Musical couple told The ENQUIRER.
"The funny thing is that Zac and Vanessa bought separate places so they could feel independent of one another," a close friend told The ENQUIRER.
"Zac especially seemed to want his freedom, but ever since he got his multi-million dollar house in the Hollywood Hills, he spends all his time at Vanessa’s home in Studio City, which is just 10 minutes away."
The 21-year-old hunk is rarely at the two-bedroom house on Woodrow Wilson Drive that cost him around $2.3 million in early December, said the source.
"There’s hardly any furniture in the house. One night, he invited Vanessa over for a romantic candlelit dinner – and the two of them had to eat on the floor!"
As The ENQUIRER previously reported, Vanessa talked Zac into giving up his apartment and moving in with her while they vacationed in the Turks & Caicos islands last summer. Now they appear to be living together virtually full-time, and pals are wondering if it is a prelude to marriage.
Her 5,200-square-foot, $2.75 million Tuscan-style villa has six bedrooms, six and a half bathrooms, a saline pool and spa, plus a barbecue where Zac cooks, said the friend.
"Living with Vanessa is an oasis of privacy and tranquility for him."
