Brash “Rhoda” star Valerie Harper is dying and she has precious little time remaining!
The actress, 76, appears thin and fragile, wearing no makeup in a world exclusive National ENQUIRER photo!
Making an appearance at a Los Angeles autograph convention on Jan. 10, the sitcom legend sported a green knit cap to hide her hair loss.

“Valerie looked like she was dying,” a shocked eyewitness told The ENQUIRER. “She was frail and gaunt — a far cry from the vivacious woman she was just months ago.”
The actress has been living on borrowed time since 2013, when she received a diagnosis of terminal brain cancer. For more than three years now, she’s been defying doctors’ dire predictions that she would be dead within three months. She even competed on “Dancing With the Stars” later that year, finishing in 10th place!
Her convention appearance — which also hosted Bond girl Britt Ekland, 73, and 84-year-old “I Dream of Jeannie” star Barbara Eden — drew gasps from stunned fans.

“Valerie put on a brave face, meeting and greeting fans who stopped by her table to buy photos, books, DVDs and so on,” revealed a source. “But her appearance was shocking and people couldn’t help but stare. She seems to be fading fast.”
Despite sheer exhaustion, Valerie insisted on returning for the second day of the event.
“She confessed she was so tired on the ride home from day one, she couldn’t sign extra photographs in the car,” sighed the insider. “She came back to finish them and not disappoint fans. She’s such a fighter.”

Valerie’s frail state has friends worried she is living out her final days.
“Pals fear Val won’t live to see her 77th birthday in August, and could be dead in as little as two months’ time,” added a source.
Valerie reignited death rumors last November when she held an estate sale at her Santa Monica, Calif., home, selling off treasures and trinkets such as scripts, her Golden Globe and a gift paperweight from Mary Tyler Moore!

“She’s been an inspiration to her longtime pal [Mary], who has been on her deathbed for the past few years,” said the insider. “No one expected that Val would likely beat Mary to the grave.”
As the somber specter of death awaits, friends hope she’s at peace with the future.
“All they can do now is pray for Val that she enjoys the remaining time she has left,” the source said.
