Britney Spears rushes 2 year old son Jayden James to ER!
The boy was stricken, becoming suddenly ill, while visiting the Spears family during a trip to visit the Spears kin in Kentwood, La. The entire Spears clan including Jamie Lynn sped 25-miles to Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center in McComb, Mississippi.
Doctors decided to keep kept the toddler for overnight observation after being unable to make an initial diagnosis. Britney refused to leave her son’s side, opting for a bed next to him in the ward.
Ex-husband Kevin Federline is said to be jetting to be by Jayden’s bedside. This was the first instance Brit had been allowed to take the boys out of the LA metro area since K-Fed was granted custody.
Sources say Jayden suffered a suspected seizure out of the blue, at about 3pm on Sunday.
"One minute Britney and her sons were relaxing and enjoying their first visit to Kentwood in months, and the next minute Jayden had fallen ill," a source told the UK tab Sun.
"He was vague and unresponsive so Britney dialed an ambulance.
"But she was told it would take half an hour to arrive, and she was best trying to get Jayden to the hospital herself."
"They tore off so fast it was incredible!" another insider told the Brit tab.
UPDATE: A representative for the Spears family gave the following e statement about Jayden’s hospitalization which appeared on www.britneyspears.com:
"Jayden James Federline was admitted to the Southwest Mississippi Regional Medical Center on Sunday, November 9th.
"Doctors concluded he had a reaction to something he ingested. He is expected to be discharged tomorrow."
