UMA’S FAMILY TESTIFY IN STALKER TRIAL

description

The trial of the mental patient who stalked actress Uma Thurman opened with her brother, Dechen, and then her parents, taking the stand.

Dechen Thurman told the courtroom that defendant Jack Jordan had called him in tears and would kill himself unless he could talk to the actress within two days.  Dechen refused to give out the Kill Bill star’s home number and suggested Jordan start a fan club and get therapy.

“He was sobbing and desperate to communicate,” Dechen testified.

Jordan then escalated his attempts to meet Uma, attempting to gain entry into her trailer on the set of her film My Super Ex-Girlfriend and lurking on the stoop of her Greenwich Village apartment.

Jordan who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and bipolar disorder is free on $10,000 bail.

Uma Thurman, is expected to take the stand tomorrow, confronting her stalker, as the trial continues in Manhattan’s Supreme Court.
