Tropic Thunder Robert Downey Jr.’s heart of stony iron.
The Oscar nommed thesp was suckling brunch in the Cub Room in Manhattan’s tony SoHo district when he spied a strange twisted metallic sculpture – an iron heart by fine artist David Hacker.
A Cubbie insider told the thesp now shooting Sherlock Holmes for Madonna-ex Guy Ritchie that the sculptor’s inspiration was a line from TS Elliot (Cats) verse.
The deerstalker detective then said, "That gives new meaning to the world ‘twisted’."
Downey did not elucidate further as to his meaning, my dear Watson.
