The tousled hair Brit thesp fears for his life because he’s scared overzealous fanpires take the story way too seriously. Rob who played vamp idol Edward Cullen has been mobbed by moviegoers asking him to bite their necks!
So far no one has tried to stake the human-all-too-human thesp but still his anxiety is mounting.
"People ambush me in public and ask me to bite them and want to touch my hair," Pattinson said.
"I just don’t want someone to have a needle and give me AIDS and I don’t want to get shot or stabbed. This is my life."
Unfortunately, the steady hand of director Catherine Hardwicke (Lords of Dogtown, 13) won’t be there to hold his when the sequel New Moon starts lensing.
