Singer Tricia Yearwood was flying to Oklahoma when disaster struck!
Yearwood was flying home August 18 after a three day, 60 mile walk to benefit cancer research in Boston when she heard a loud pop!
The front left window of the plane had cracked!
The plane quickly made an emergency landing in Baltimore.
"By the time we got on the ground, the crack on the front of the plane’s window was huge, and getting bigger by the second," Yearwood said.
"It was like in the movies when they land and you see all the fire trucks and emergency crews."
After a three hour layover for another plane, Yearwood was airborne again.
"It wasn’t a scary situation until afterward when you think about what possibly could have happened," the shaken songbird revealed.
"But once I did land, I thought, ‘Good. I’d like to stay home a little while.’"
