TRAVOLTA EVIDENCE BURNED

description

A piece of key incriminating evidence in the Travolta extort trial was destroyed by the accused.

Sen. Pleasant Bridgewater burned the refusal of treatment/transportation document, which the actor was told he had to sign when he first wanted his dying son taken to an airstrip in the Bahamas instead of the hospital.

Former Travolta pal  Bridgewater and EMT Tarino Lightbourne,  are accused of blackmailing Travolta after the death of his autistic son Jett. As THE ENQUIRER previously reported they were trying to shake down the superstar fro $25 million.

When Jett suffered a deadly seizure in January, Travolta said he wanted to fly Jett to Florida for treatment. The medics told him he had to sign the document for them to not take him to the hospital.

Travolta signed the document, but since the teen was not responding to CPR, he  opted to take Jett to the nearest hospital.

According to the prosecution, police searched Bridgewater’s home in the Bahmas for the document but "he used a candle at her home and lit the document on fire and flush(ed) the ashes in the toilet bowl at her residence."

Travolta is expected to return to the stand Wednesday.
