TRAVIS BARKER CRASH LAWSUIT

description

Two months after surviving a plane crash that killed four passengers and left him with severe burns, Travis Barker has filed a negligence lawsuit against the owners and makers of the Learjet he was on.

The former Blink-182 drummer filed legal papers on Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming that "one or more of the tires failed" and the pilot made a "negligent attempt to abort the takeoff."

Barker filed the suit with Thelma Martin Still, the mother of security guard Charles Still, who died in the accident. Both are seeking at least $25,000 in damages.

The National Transportation Safety Board has been investigating the Sept. 19 crash but may take as long as a year to complete.
