President Obama announces  that White House Press Secretary JAY CARNEY is ankling the administration ASAP.

Obama crashed Carney’s White House briefing today to make the announcement.

He gave a lot of lip serviced Carney for his "good heart" and "temperament" dealing with the cantankerous WHiye JHouse press corps.

"I'm going to miss him a lot," Obama added about Carney, 49, who took over as the President's PR flack January 2011.

Carney, 49, said he had given his two weeks notice and would be still on the job until mid June.

"Be nice to him on his farewell tour," the President joked.

Josh Earnest, Principal Deputy Press Secretary, will replace Carney.

The resigns for Carney’s sudden departure are as yet unclear.

It was the Obama Administration’s 2nd big resignation in one day.

Earlier, embattled Veterans Affairs Secretary Eric Shinseki resigned Friday after publicly apologizing for problems plaguing the agency’s health care system.
