Maverick flies again!
Studio execs are reportedly high on a Top Gun sequel – the 1986 Tom Cruise megahit.
Cruise, 46, is now in talks with execs to reprise his star turn as Pete "Maverick" Mitchell – the ace with "the need for speed".
"’The idea is Maverick is at the Top Gun school as an instructor – and this time it is he who has to deal with a cocky new female pilot," an insider told the UK Sun.
Katie Holmes, perhaps?
