TOM JONES SECRET PAST

description

New secret docs just released in England reveal the truth about Tom Jones sordid past.

The superstar singer, now 69, claimed unemployment benefit prior to hitting it big as a singer much to the annoyance of Brit civil servants who thought he should get a "real job ".

They also reported the "It’s Not Unusual " star was "work-shy" and "didn’t want to get his fingernails dirty".

The Welsh lay-a-bout, Thomas John Woodward before he changed his name to the one we know today, worked a variety of menial jobs as factory worker, glove cutter and laborer between 1961 and 1964.

The employment record from Pontypridd, South Wales also mention Tom was on bail for breaking and entering and say that Jones didn’t want shift work because of his singing commitments.

The last  entry, on July 3, 1964, is a historic footnote:

"Claimant showed me a letter from Decca Studios confirming a recording session had been arranged.

‘He has been talking about "going professional" since April but he is still signing the UR (unemployment register) and not autograph books."

That ALL changed rather quickly.
