There’s been a whole lotta bad ‘net buzz about Tom Cruise‘s latest flick Valkyrie because its release has been pushed back.
Yet, despite all the bloggers’ hoo-hah, no one’s seen the film – yet.
Judging by the trailer and its excellent pedigree of cast and crew from Bill Nighy, Thomas Kretschmann, Stephen Fry and General Zod himself – Terence Stamp with a script by Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects) all this bad buzz may be without merit.
Distrib United Artists is probably avoiding the Holiday quality film crunch, opting for Oscar qualifying runs in limited release before opening in January.
Valkyrie is based on the true story of a conspiracy plotted by high-ranking Nazi generals to assassinate Hitler during World War II.
