In the age of post-steroidal brawniness TIGER WOODS ain’t what he used to be as he drops out of the Players Championship after a mere nine holes.
Woods had attempted to play after injuring his left knee and Achilles at the Masters, but claimed he had a hard time just walking.
"The knee acted up and the Achilles followed after that and the calf started acting up.
"Everything started getting tight," he said.
Woods said he was surprised because docs told him treatment had been going well.
The once potent putter had no idea had this would affect him with the US Open just a month away.
"I don't know. Give me a few days to see what the doctors say," he begged.
A far cry from the serial cheater golf king of yore who once bagged every hole without batting an eye.
