It’s been a little over two weeks since The Enquirer dropped it’s bombshell worldwide exclusive that the world’s greatest golfer had been getting busy with NYC party girl Rachel Uchitel igniting a worldwide conflagration. Reportedly his wife, Elin Nordegren, went postal, he had a little car accident and a never-ending parade of self-confessed lovers emerged with outstretched hands.
With a livid Elin buying a $ 2 million, isolated mansion in Sweden, Tiger admitted "infidelity" and hiatus from golf on his website. Meanwhile more sponsors including Gilette and global consulting firm Accenture Ltd dropped the tarnished pitchman.
But what about the Woods cubs Sam and Charlie?
The Florida Department of Children and Families, escorted by deputies from the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, visited Woods’ Windemere home over the weekend, RadarOnline.com reported.
"Our deputies met with members of the Department of Children and Families. But all details are being kept secret," Capt. Angelo Nieves of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said.
It is a fairly common practice for child welfare to inspect the safety of children after a suspected domestic violence incident – that would be the reputed argument between Tiger and Elin that sent him fleeing barefoot into his car that promptly crashed amid a swirl of innuendo.
And as The ENQUIRER reported previously, Elin has been consulting with her legal eagles before dueling with Team Tiger for a larger payday to stay put to — or begin divorce proceedings from the world’s richest sportsman/ confessed adulterers.
With Elin snapped not wearing her wedding or engagement rings over the weekend, a War of the Woods doomsday scenario aka a bitter divorce war seems imminent.
