Pregnant Vanessa Lachey is furious at hubby Nick Lachey because he just can’t seem to quit partying and checking out other women!
On March 5, the former boy-band singer announced the happy news that he and Vanessa are expecting their first child later this year, but sources tell The ENQUIRER Nick’s having a hard time settling into domestic bliss.
“Nick has been acting out because he’s so nervous about the prospect of parenthood,” an insider explained. “While Vanessa is at home dealing with morning sickness, mood swings and uncomfortable weight gain, Nick has been hitting the party scene with his pals and flirting with the ladies.
“It should be the happiest time in their relationship, but instead they’re fighting a lot.
“She’s hormonal and feeling more insecure than ever, and Nick is ducking for cover by hanging out at the clubs, enjoying the eye candy.”
Vanessa, 31, seemed to be the furthest thing from Nick’s mind at a pre-Super Bowl Playboy party in Indianapolis on Feb. 3, where the 38-year-old hunk chatted up Playmates in skimpy outfits.
The source said Vanessa “read Nick the riot act” over his “inappropriate, frat-boy behavior” and issued an ultimatum, telling him: “The party’s over. From now on, where I go, you go.”
And a none-too-pleased Nick was recently spotted with Vanessa at a fashion event in Charleston, S.C.
“From the look on his face, you could tell Nick was thoroughly miserable,” said the source. “He’s definitely had his wings clipped!”
