JACK NICHOLSON would like to burn ex-gal pal’s memoir that has ALL Hollywood whispering about the kinky party king!
Jack is so terrified of what ANJELICA HUSTON might say in her new book that he’s kissing up to her so the Oscar winner won’t trash him back to the Stoned Age.
Nicholson and Huston were a couple for 16 years, and sources say Nicholson – known as a notorious ladies man – is freaking out over what Anjelica might say about him.
“Jack has a lot of skeletons in his closet, and Anjelica knows where most of the bodies are buried,” said a film industry insider close to the 74-year-old actor.
“She not only knows about many of Jack’s women, she also has the goods on his drug use, drinking and kinky sex!”
The two split in 1989 when the “Departed” star got waitress-turned-actress Rebecca Broussard pregnant.
“Anjelica’s first response to that situation was, ‘You have to support this woman,’” three-time Oscar winner Jack said in an interview.
“Her second response was to come down to my job and beat the hell out of me.”
Anjelica – an Oscar winner herself for the 1985 drama “Prizzi’s Honor” – later wed sculptor Robert Graham, who died in 2008.
And while her memoir isn’t due until 2013, Nicholson gifted her with a pricey diamond and ruby Cartier necklace during her 60th birthday bash in Venice, Calif., on July 9, said the source.
“Jack kissed Anjelica and said, ‘It’s just like old times, sweetheart, isn’t it?’ ” the source revealed.
“Anjelica was swept off her feet at first, but she’s wise to Jack’s little game. He’s trying to buy her silence!”
