Former 1970s teen hearthtrob Leif Garrett released from jail on heroin possession.
 
When LAPD cops approached Garrett, 68, on the LA subway platform he was "seating and shaking"  — the classic signs of a junkie.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore said was collared late Monday for heroin possession and then released on bond yesterday.

Whitmore revealed Garrett denied possessing drugs initially.

 He then allowed them to search him before he admitting he had black tar heroin secreted in his shoe.

The troubled one -time Family star has a long history of drug use, including a 2006 bust for heroin.
