Media mogul and onetime JANE FONDA hubby TED TURNER who put the "24" in cable news says he’s running out of cash and may be so broke he couldn’t even pay for his own funeral.
The Hollywood Reporter says the once mighty Turner admits he’s on the cusp of poverty.
"I’m one of the few examples of a very wealthy person that’s given himself to the edge of poverty," he said on MSNBC.
Turner, who once pledged $1 billion to the United Nations, claims he’s "happy" to give money away to most anyone who visits his office.
Turner did note that he has "a few million left."
But now he fears he may have left his family with some unfinished funeral expenses.
"I don’t want to leave my family with an unpaid funeral bill. I’m trying to save a little bit of money to at least cover my expenses."
Maybe if Ted needs to he can borrow some bread from ex- Jane who’s rekindled her DVD fitness empire.
