TALK SHOW GUEST DIED ON-AIR

description

They say comedy is hard but dying is easier?  Well, sort-of – just ask Dick Cavett who’s guest died on the air!

Cavett who had several talk show during the 1970s was known for his dry wit and Yale sensibilities but what happens when your hot topic becomes corpus delecti in front of millions of TV viewers?

"Jerome Rodale who was a firness guru and health expert as well as the editor of Prevention magazine had been bragging on the show about having ‘never felt better’ in his whole life," Cavett divulged.

"He said he planned to live to be 100."

Within minutes of recounting how he had survived falling down a flight of stairs the previous week and laughing all the way, Rodale suddenly shocked Cavett – and the world.

"He slumped over – dead," the stunned Cavett recounted.
