SUSPECT ARRESTED IN OPRAH SCHOOL SCANDAL

An employee involved in an abuse investigation at Oprah Winfrey's South African school for girls has been arrested, CNN reports.

The suspect is an ex-school matron whose name has not been released. The suspect is accused of physical abuse against girls at the school, including soliciting them for indecent acts, police superintendent Lungelo Dlamini in Johannesburg said. The suspect will appear in court on Monday, Dlamini said.

No other employees of the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls are being investigated at this time, Dlamini added.
