SUSAN BOYLE’S SECRET LOVE

description

Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle has found love – but it looks like she may have set herself up for heartbreak.

Frumpy Susan – who stunned judge Simon Cowell and the rest of the world with her performance of "I Dreamed a Dream" on Brit TV – has fallen for a German immigrant more than 18 years her senior.

Susan, 47, met widower Helmut Glaser, 66, through her church – and she’s asked him to go to Rome with her to meet the Pope. Helmut politely declined.

In an exclusive interview, Helmut told The ENQUIRER that he’s not ready for romance with Susan, believing he’s "too old" for the Britain’s Got Talent superstar.

The pair, both devout Catholics, met two years ago at prayer meetings.

Helmut told The ENQUIRER: "Susan is lovely. I can only say good things about Susan. When Susan sings, she sings from the heart, and I believe she has a gift from God."

He added: "I had to let her down gently and remind her that I was old enough to be her father – there’s almost 19 years between us.

"I am recovering from an operation, and Susan has phoned a few times since I got out of the hospital. She has been lovely to me, asking how I am. She is a very caring person.

"If anyone deserves success, it is Susan."
