AMERICA’S SUPERNANNY DEBORAH TILLMAN deserves a time-out for BAD behavior!

Public records reveal that the lady who seems to have all the answers when doling out parenting advice owns a chain of day care centers that have been besieged by code violations and complaints.

“Deborah’s child care centers are literally a hazard to the children’s health,” blasted a source.

The show is already struggling to pull in decent ratings. It was launched by Lifetime in a bid to capitalize on the onetime popularity of the British “Supernanny” show starring Jo Frost, which made a successful leap to U.S. TV on ABC, and now with “Family S.O.S.” on TLC.

But Tillman has yet to come close to matching Frost’s popularity with American viewers, and she now faces some bad publicity. Her three Happy Home Child Learning Centers in Virginia have been slapped with dozens of violations over the past five years from the state’s department of social services, and department records show numerous complaints – and a source tells The ENQUIRER that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

“There is not enough staff to properly supervise the kids, they don’t wash their hands after changing diapers or properly sanitize the changing areas,” said the source. “Some teachers have even threatened to throw kids’ artwork away unless they behave.”

In “America’s Supernanny: Family Lockdown,” Deborah visits the homes of families struggling with tough parenting issues. But despite her know-it-all on-air attitude, state records show that Deborah’s day care centers are under close scrutiny, and in early May, Deborah informed parents she was shutting one of them down. Said the insider: “Deborah obviously doesn’t practice what she preaches on TV.”
