STILL HOSPITALIZED HARRISON FORD VOWS: I’LL WALK AGAIN!

Harrison Ford is struggling with both serious injuries and the “strain” of putting on a courageous front for his distraught family, The National ENQUIRER has been told.

The 72-year-old “Star Wars” hero – he’s married to “Ally McBeal” star Calista Flockhart – was pulled from the wreckage of a crash in Venice, Calif., on March 5, after the plane he was piloting suffered engine failure 3,000 feet above the ground.

“Harrison is putting up a brave front and trying to look and sound like the Harrison of old, but his accident has left him very frail,” said an insider.

The screen legend had already suffered a broken leg while filming “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” last June.

A hydraulic door on the “Millennium Falcon” fell on him, causing a shooting delay of several weeks. Harrison remained hospitalized with severe head lacerations.

He’d also undergone surgery for a broken pelvis and ankle.

“He’s vowed to walk fully again, without the aid of crutches, and says that he wants to get back to work sooner rather than later,” said the source.

“But everyone’s concerned that privately he might not be able to recover as quickly as he says he will.”

On March 10, the National Transportation Safety Board released a preliminary report, saying no flight plan was filed for the “personal flight.” Officials also noted Harrison was some 800 feet shy of the runway he had requested for an emergency landing “prior to impacting the ground.”
