That’s what’s going to happen if the American Idol judge’s longtime girlfriend Erin Brady has her way. She’s so jealous of the Aerosmith lead singer’s flirting with young girls on the FOX talent show that she’s pushing the 62-year-old rehabbed rocker to tie the knot, sources say.
"Erin is very protective of Steven," said a close source. "She gets jealous even when he tosses a sideways glance at another woman.
"And during the auditions, he made it clear that he was more than a little interested in some of the young female contestants."
Erin, 37, has also been known to confront other women who get too close to her man.
In 2007, she got into a catfight at the Hollywood, Fla., hotspot Pangaea with a female clubgoer who tried to snap a picture of Steven, according to reports.
An eyewitness revealed the two were "scratching, hair-pulling and hiting"before security stepped in to break them apart.
Twice-married Steven who began dating Erin in 2006, after Teresa, his wife of 18 years and the mother of his two youngest children, left him for their contractor.
Erin has been reportedly part of the band’s road crew and ha a hard-partying rep much like Steven and Aerosmith insiders have blamed her for the bad blood between Steven and bandmates including Joe Perry.
She also pushed him, say sources, to take the American Idol judging gig.
"Erin believes it allows him to make a bundle of money and stand on his own two feet, apart from the band," an insider divulged.
"Now, she says the only thing that would make their life together complete would be to become his bride."
