The son of supermodel Stephanie Seymour and her billionaire husband Peter Brant was arrested last night after allegedly assaulting a police officer at New York’s John F. Kennedy airport.

Peter Mark Brant Jr., 22, was waiting to board a flight to join his parents in West Palm Beach, Fla., when he was swearing and “making unreasonable noise.”

“The defendant became so confrontational with airline staff due to extreme intoxication by at least alcohol, if not something more,” according to Assistant District Attorney Catherine Kane. “The airline refused him passage and called the police. He became very agitated, upset and boisterous about being refused boarding.”

Peter also reportedly pushed his way out an emergency exit, setting off alarms.

According to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the socialite and heir reportedly resisted arrest by swinging his arms and legs and trying to avoid handcuffs. One officer was allegedly injured during the scuffle.

Peter was charged with two counts of assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He was released on $5,000 bail and his lawyer, Philip Russell, conceded, “He is an idiot,” according to Page Six.

In 2014, Peter was caught with a small amount of marijuana and given a citation and ticket, but not arrested.
