Majel Barret Roddenberry, final voyage, 76.

The widow of the Star Trek creator, Gene Roddenberry, Majel was also a regular in the original TV series as Nurse Christine Chapel, sometime foil to Dr. McCoy.

She was also Lwaxana Troi in Star Trek: The Next Generation and the voice of the USS Enterprise computer in every spin-off of the 1966 Sci-Fi classic including the forthcoming JJ Abrams feature reboot.

Majel died of leukemia at her home in Bel Air with her only son Eugene Roddenberry, Jr. at her bedside, her rep said.

Majel now joins beloved hubby Gene in voyaging beyond the farthest star.
