Star Jones has slammed former The View costar Barbara Walters for writing about her in a new tell-all book.
Walters claims in Auditions her tell-all bio that Star asked her to lie about her gastric bypass operation, claiming her miraculous weight loss was via Pilates and food-intake management.
Star claims Walters is lying.
"It is a sad day when an icon like Barbara Walters, in the sunset of her life, is reduced to publicly branding herself as an adulterer, humiliating an innocent family with accounts of her illicit affair and speaking negatively against me all for the sake of selling a book,” Jones confided to Us Weekly.
“It speaks to her true character."
