Search teams probed a waterway in Lockport, Ill. Wednesday for evidence that could be linked to the Stacy Peterson investigation, according to a report by ABC 7 Chicago.
“There were things there, and they wanted to investigate,” Pam Bosco, a family spokeswoman, told FOXNews.com. Bosco said a sonar search led authorities to the area but that she didn’t know of anything specific that led authorities to the Illinois Michigan canal.
Stacy Peterson has been missing since Oct. 29. Her husband, Drew Peterson, denies any involvement in her disappearance and claims that she left him for another man.
