SPECIAL INVESTIGATION: ROBERT WAGNER – “HE’s STILL HIDING SOMETHING”

Robert Wagner was “hesitant and holding back” the last time he spoke about Natalie Wood’s death, a body language expert has charged.

“It’s as if he’s still hiding something, a big secret!” Dr. Lillian Glass, author of “The Body Language of Liars,” told The National ENQUIRER.

Wagner appeared for a rare interview on “Charlie Rose” in March to promote his book “You Must Remember This.”

The ENQUIRER commissioned Dr. Glass to review video of the interview, during which the “Hart to Hart” star spoke about Christopher Walken, the actor at the center of The ENQUIRER’s shocking sex secret revelation!

During the conversation, he was asked: “Did you have a relationship with Chris (Walken)?”

Responding “No, I didn’t,” Wagner stopped to clear his throat and muttered: “I never really knew him … I think he’s a very nice, nice guy. A talented actor.”

“Do you ever talk about it,” Charlie probed further, to which Wagner said: “Um, yeah, we talk about it. But I never had a real big discussion with him about it.”

Dr. Glass – who has worked with Hollywood stars such as Sean Connery and Dustin Hoffman – questioned 84-year-old Wagner’s response!

She said: “You ‘never had a real big discussion about it’? I find that particularly hard to believe … There are just a lot of things that don’t add up.

“You can see (a lot of tension) in (Wagner’s) cheeks and his jaw,” Dr. Glass added.

“When Charlie tells him, ‘It must have been difficult, not just for the loss of your wife, but the suspicion,’ you see Robert’s cheeks tense up! That indicates anger.”

Some of the tell-tale signs were that the veteran star “doesn’t finish sentences, his eyes are downcast and he talks too much,” she said.

“Wagner’s nervous … It’s very painful for him. You can see every muscle in his face is contorted.”

PBS host Charlie also asked if Wagner thought we’d ever know what happened during that fateful night in 1981.

Explained Dr. Glass: “Wagner responds, ‘I don’t think so,’ but he doesn’t sound very convincing. I think he’s covering up. He’s hiding something – his actions (and) mannerisms are very deceptive.” As he answered, he looked down and hemmed and hawed, said Dr. Glass. He sounds detached.

“I think the man knows something that he’s not telling us, (something) that he wants to take to his grave!”
